How excited was I to see several of my anthologies in an awesome indie feminst/LBGT bookstore? I felt like I really made it! My books! In a bookstore in another country! There were so many awesome local businesses there and the staff at each of these shops were so friendly and knowledgeable. If you’re ever in Halifax, look them up!
Little Mysteries Bookstore/Witch Shop: So lovely and well organized! Lots of stones, incense, books, jewelry and other goodies.
Venus Envy: Feminist/LBGT Bookstore/ Upscale Sex Toy Shop
The Loop Craft Cafe: Knitting and Spinning Supplies
Attica: Mid century inspired furniture
Biscuit General Store: Gorgeous clothes, fun kitschy gifts and fresh popcorn for everyone
World Tea House: A beautiful selection of loose teas
2 Doors Down: Fresh, seasonal and locally focused restaurant
