We rang in 2014 with a small gathering of friends at our place. I made ton of food, none of which survived long enough to be photographed – Arancini balls, Chicken Shumai, mushroom turnovers, chicken meatballs, beef meatballs, fried eggplant and Orecchiette in a Vodka Sauce! Not to mention all the desserts everyone brought!
We played Cards Against Humanity and let me just say it’s always the quiet ones with that game. You don’t even want to know some of the gems that came from Jow.
We toasted in the new year, clinking champagne glasses and crying, “In omnia paratus!” and each drew a a tarot card for our omens for the New Year.
What did you do to welcome in the new year, Charmers?
