I don’t do planetary magic generally personally. It’s that whole I-don’t-like-to- have-to-Compound-Mormon-marry-a-magical-system-before-I-get-to-know-it thing I have (I’m looking at you, Hermeticism).

I mean, I’ve picked some planetary magic up just by living with Jow as he lets me regularly grill his brain meats for sweet sweet knowledge.
I’ve always really liked how Jason has a way of laying out complicated concepts very simply. In cooking, one generally has to be a master chef before one can open a restaurant with simple flavors because one needs to be very skilled to not hide behind elaborate preparation. When it’s just you, the basic ingredients and a few simple spices, you have to be on top of your game. Jason Miller is on top of his game in Advanced Planetary Magic.
There’s enough advanced ritual work for the experienced and enough basic information for those less experienced to work with. The ritual work has a lot of fresh, new ideas that I’m interested in incorporating into my practice. Mercury of Luna, Jupiter of Luna (I plan on performing it on Sunday during the Super Moon!) and Mercury of Venus.
I also plan to use Jason’s sigil work for when I make my Jovian Jupiter Limited Edition Ritual Oil.
